Local buses..........still look the same as in 1974 :-(
The main bus station in Nadi.........."you come and meet my family in my village" is the common introductory line :-)
Currently most of the local housing is concrete as the hurricanes and cyclones regularly blow the bures down and or away. Not much style with these unfortunately. More just a roof over their heads. The Internationals that own property on Denarau Island have a bit more say in the style of housing they inhabit. Will try and put up pics tomorrow. Currently a group of singers is visiting each unit "serenading" the guests :-)
